The Leader's Brain Research Center

The Leader's Brain Research Center exists because leadership science has not kept pace with the world it is meant to serve.

We are a neuroleadership research centre advancing four interconnected priorities:

  • Credible measurement of adaptability — developing validated, biologically grounded tools to assess adaptability as a leadership competency, moving beyond self-report toward measurable markers including HRV and autonomic regulation indicators.
  • Inclusive research design — ensuring our data reflects the diversity of the global population we study. As demographics shift, leadership science must shift with them. We actively prioritize sample diversity and cross-cultural validity in all research designs.
  • Understanding the next-generation brain — investigating how generational shifts in cognitive patterns, stress responses, and purpose orientation are redefining what effective leadership requires — and what it means to teach it.
  • Systemic recommendations — translating research findings into evidence-based guidance for organizations, educators, and policymakers navigating leadership development at scale.

Our work is grounded in the conviction that awareness precedes change. You cannot lead people effectively without understanding how their brains work. You cannot teach leadership well without knowing whom you are teaching.

LBRC is affiliated with WSKZ University, Poznań, and operates as the research foundation of the broader neuroleadership ecosystem built by Creative Brain and the nls2040 initiative.

We welcome inquiries about research collaboration, co-investigator partnerships, and institutional affiliation.
